New Stand Mixer Cover!

I absolutely love etsy.com! After we couldn't get the unknown stains out of our white mixer cover, Joe and I decided to look for another. His only request was that it was a dark color so it wouldn't show stains as easily. I knew I wanted some personalization to it, so I headed right over to etsy. Violet's shop had the perfect style and fabric for us, plus she easily agreed to make me one with a butterfly.

Joe and I figured black would be the best color. I was torn between sticking with this baking scene or asking for a butterfly.

 My girlie heart won out and Joe said he didn't mind the butterfly, so butterfly it is. I can't wait to receive it in the mail!

For Our Unconceived Child

Don't you just love it? One of Joe's dear friend's girlfriend is pregnant and the shower is this weekend. I always try to get some form of personal gift and Joe's friend (like Joe) is a huge Ravens fan. That being said, we had to get one for our future little one too. The charm is an angel holding a football (which I know can be swallowed, so we'll have to remove it when the time comes). I bought them from etsy seller Woopsy Daisies.

The question is...how long will we have to store this?!? We both have babies on the brain intermittently, but we realize we don't want an infant during my intern year...
