I didn't enjoy this as much as the first one, unfortunately. I think it was too long and I had a difficult time staying attentive (mind you, I was working a ton while reading it). I really don't think Kvothe going to the Fae added much, and that part could have been cut out. I'm hoping to reread it before the third one comes out and hopefully I won't be working 80 hours a week when I reread it and perhaps I'll enjoy it more.
