Onion Goggles?

I've been meaning to make an order from King Arthur Flour's website for months now. I subscribe to their food blog, http://blog.kingarthurflour.com/ and they are always making yummy things. Until Thursday they have free shipping on orders over $60, so I knew it was finally time to peruse the website. They have tons of wonderful things on there, but I truly dropped my jaw when I saw these "onion goggles."

As much as I despise cutting onions (just because I bawl every time), I didn't order them. I wanted baking ingredients instead, so I decided to save my money. I will say though, I might just have to put them on my Christmas list for next year.
